How much have you missed having a new Sarah Dessen book in your life? The good news is that the wait is almost over, and for one of you lucky readers, it'll be over even sooner because I'm giving away an arc of The Moon and More!

"Luke is the perfect boyfriend: handsome, kind, fun. He and Emaline have been together all through high school in Colby, the beach town where they both grew up. But now, in the summer before college, Emaline wonders if perfect is good enough.

Enter Theo, a super-ambitious outsider, a New Yorker assisting on a documentary film about a reclusive local artist. Theo's sophisticated, exciting, and, best of all, he thinks Emaline is much too smart for Colby.

Emaline's mostly-absentee father, too, thinks Emaline should have a bigger life, and he's convinced that an Ivy League education is the only route to realizing her potential. Emaline is attracted to the bright future that Theo and her father promise. But she also clings to the deep roots of her loving mother, stepfather, and sisters. Can she ignore the pull of the happily familiar world of Colby?

Emaline wants the moon and more, but how can she balance where she comes from with where she's going?"

Details: Runs from today until midnight Friday (EST). Open to US/Canada only. All entries will be verified!

  1. My favorite Sarah Dessen book is What Happened to Goodbye. I really thought it had emotions in it that I could relate to and I think that it was really an uplifting book, but still an emotionally-heavy book. I really loved it and I can't quite explain why.

    1. Goodbye was a good one. It wasn't my favorite, but it was closer to the top. I liked it because it was more realistic.

    2. That's definitely one of the reasons I liked it, fairytales don't always appeal to me.

    3. Well, even with some of Sarah's other books, the stories sometimes seem a bit far-fetched. WHtG seemed completely believable.

  2. I have not read any Sarah Dessen books, but every single one of them looks wonderful. She is definitely an author I plan to read soon.

    1. My favorite is The Truth About Forever. It's beautiful. Just Listen, Along for the Ride, What Happened to Goodbye, and Lock & Key are the other ones I put toward the top. I hope you enjoy!

    1. Her books are really quick, which is a plus. I ran through them all really quickly last spring and summer. I prefer her later stuff over her earlier books. See above for my favorites. I haven't read TMAM yet so it'll be interesting to see where I put that one.
