Allegiant giveaway

I know we are ALL looking forward to this one!

Allegiant
Divergent #3
by Veronica Roth
October 22, 2013
Katherine Tegen Books

Summary:
One choice will define you.

What if your whole world was a lie?
What if a single revelation—like a single choice—changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected?

The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered—fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she’s known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.
But Tris’s new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature—and of herself—while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice, and love.

    1. Better start Insurgent slightly before, that way you won't have to wait. Otherwise, you might as well stay off the internet while you finish. Spoilers, I fear, will be flying madly everywhere!

  2. I'm so excited for the movie! I didn't think Shailene Woodley (er.. I butchered the spelling of her name, didn't I?) would make a good Tris until I saw the trailer, and then I was mind blown! I love Four, but I still don't know how I feel about Allegiant being dual POV... Guess we'll see!

    1. Yes about Shailene (actually, I think you spelled it right; if not, we both butchered it!): I was hesitant, but she's done a great job so far. Dual pov is also something that makes me hesitate when it wasn't the format for the first books, but I've enjoyed Four's extra stories so I think this'll work out well.

  3. I love this giveaway! Divergent is one of my favorite series and I cannot wait for Allegiant! My favorite character is Four. I like Tris too, but sometimes she can be whiny haha I was hesitant about Shailene also, but after seeing pictures and trailers, I'm very happy with her. I'm glad to get 2 POV's because honestly like I said before, Tris can sometimes be whiny and it will be nice to see it from Four's POV

  5. I LOVED Divergent. And as much as I don't like hipsters, I enjoy saying I read this before it was cool. ;) Haha... I'm really excited for the dual POVs because from what I've read, Veronica Roth is good at doing Four's POV. And it is a very difficult thing for authors to make dual POVs w/o them sounding like the same person! I hope Veronica Roth succeeds! CAN'T WAIT FOR ALLEGIANT. So happy you're having this giveaway!

    1. Haha, I can't say I read it before it was cool. I only read Divergent a couple months before Insurgent came out. Sadly, I am not an original fan. I think her Four pov is really good too. M/F dual can be tricky not only because sometiems the voices are too similar, but I think sometimes female authors overcompensate and their guy voices are the epitome of trying too hard!

  6. Love this series. I'm also glad that Roth did the short stories from Four's point of view. Love Four!

  7. I would probably be in Dauntless. I enjoyed Divergent but it was Insurgent where I was completely hooked. Cannot wait for Allegiant!

    1. I don't know if I could handle the whole train jumping thing. Or the jumping off a building thing. Or, really, any of the Dauntless training. It's so intense!

  19. I hear spoilers are spreading like Nutella on my morning toast! I need to get a hold of the first two so I'm ready for this baby ;) I'm always on the lookout for good YA writing to inspire me, and people say this series is on the high-quality side of the YA genre rainbow.

    1. Sadly, there was a shipping error so some fans did receive the book a month early. Veronica did everything she could, but there's really no way to prevent the spread of spoilers. :( Stay off the internet! And yes, this is high quality. Very enjoyable!

  27. My favorite characters Tris obviously she's so relateable and I wish I could be both brave and selfless as her. But if I wasn't choosing Tris I definitely LOVE Uriah he's just so hilarious and him! I think I'd be either Amity or Erudite. I wish I could say I'm Dauntless but I know I'm not... Heheh thank you so much for this giveaway I really want Allegiant so badly!!

  32. I haven't read Allegiant yet, and I'm really scared too! I just don't want the trilogy to end! And I saw a spoiler, so I know what happens and I just don't want it to end on a sad note (which is inevitable) but just thinking about it is giving me the feels. So yeah, I haven't read it yet, but I hopefully will soon. I am still really excited for the movie though, because I'm really curious to see the actors and directors take on it.
