Weekly wrap-up: February 2-8

I am so stressed at the moment from work and the Super Bowl (Broncos Nation forever!), and the only thing that made me feel better was getting a lot of reading done. I'm also really excited about some amazing bookish news that I can't talk about yet, but I can't wait to share it! In the meantime, it's event prep city here. Starting this next week, I embark on a magical 3-week event tour where I'll hit up 8 events featuring 13 authors in 4 major cities in 3 states. I promisepromisepromise there will be recaps and giveaways galore so stick around! In the meantime, what books are you reading/have you read this week?

Completed:
This Song Will Save Your Life - Leila Sales: 3 stars. Not going to lie, I'm disappointed. I had heard nothing but glowing reviews for this book. I just didn't connect with it very well. Still, there were some beautiful individual moments that kicked it up to a 3. Leila's writing is technically very good so I'll definitely pick up one of her books again.
The Break-Up Artist - Philip Siegel: 5 stars. I loved this. Funny and engaging, and I could definitely empathize with Becca. I found out that there is also a sequel in the works so I'm pretty excited about that!
Better Off Friends - Elizabeth Eulberg: 4 stars. The #1 word you'll see employed to describe this book is "adorable" and it's a good fit. Macallan and Levi's story is sweet and funny and seemed to just fly by. For once, I really love that it's a book told over the course of several years. It fit the story really well. Full review to come soon.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson audiobook - John Green & David Levithan. Current progress: 22% complete. Lolololololololol. I forgot how funny this book is!
